Khloe Kardashian sued by Paparazzi Agency for posting a photo of herself on Instagram Khloé Kardashian has been accused of copyright infringement and sued by paparazzi agency Xposure, for sharing a photo of herself on Instagram. According to the federal lawsuit Khloe removed the copyright information from one of their photos and shared it on her page without giving them credit for it. The photo was taken when Khloe was dining with her older sister Kourtney Kardashian, at the Miami restaurant Komodo in September 2016 by photographer Manual Munoz. The photo was then licensed to the Daily Mail as an exclusive. According to court documents, Xposure Photos is suing Khloe for $150,000 in damages. Xposure Photos claims that the company would have profited from the photos if Khloe hadn't shared them on her account. Simply Magical or Extraordinary Messiless? I had never admired or adored the El Classico since 2006 when I became a full blown football fan, to me it had always been over hyped. In 2005, after the FIFA U-20 world cup, where the small boy with a feminine sounding name -,Missi broke my heart and eloped with the trophy and the most valuable player award, my heart hated the little man not to mention the humiliating displays against my Arsenal. Though I had always loved Madrid I mean the Real football club not an athletic social club because of the players they paraded then, from Zidane to Figo to Roberto Carlos to the Real Ronaldo etcetera. On the other hand, I had loved Barcelona because of some specially gifted players in their ranks- Rivaldo,Kluvert, Thuram, the young Valdez, Déco, Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto, Thierry Henry etcetera but who would finally win me over was the question I had always asked myself, on some occasion I would wholesomely support Madrid like when Guardiola was wrec...
The Media Effect. I took time to critically analyse the Semi Final match between Arsenal and Manchester City and came to realise how important the media can be in football. Both teams have been at the tail end of media criticism but one - Arsenal was more of a topic on daily basis, if not the team form, it's the players future or the manager's contract situation and funny enough Arsenal always find a way to be maligned in and by the media. Manchester city also had and are having a fair share of such castigation, from the manager's team and tactical setup, to age and squad dept, to anything we can think of. My greatest worry about Mr Wenger has always been his inability to change and twist or say setup a team according to the playing style of his opponent, before now everyone knew we would always go with the 4-2-3-1 formation, I for once had glamoured for a switch to a two striker option to get the best use of our squad. The media did shout but it had normally fell on de...
FOOTBALL IS MADE IN UYO: # MfmAkw PREVIEW This is dedicated to football fans in the country and all over the world. The made in Uyo brand will hopefully and surely be the most sort after brand in the country from my observation and analysis so far. Come Sunday 23th April, 2017 at the Agege Township stadium, Mountain of Fire and Miracle Football club takes on the pride of the south south region so far this season - Akwa United Football Club of Akwa Abasi Ibom State. MFM FC are second on the league stand after their two nil away loss to Akwa United on match day 19, thy will definitely want to take a pound of flesh against Akwa United at home. Both sides have met three times, Akwa winning twice at home;2-0,3-1 and lost 3-0 in their only visit to Agege. Akwa United have been solid at home, winning seven times and drawing three against FC Ifeanyi Ubah (1-1), Enugu Rangers(0-0) and Rivers United(1-1) but have been poor travellers winning only at the Sani Abacha Stadium(0-1) away to Ka...
REMEMBER REVEREND KING? HE WON'T BE EXECUTED ACCORDING TO FALANA A senior lawyer and human rights activist Femi Falana has urged the Lagos state government to commute the death sentence passed on inmates to life imprisonment. Falana said the planned execution of death row inmates would violate a subsisting judgement deceived by the Lagos state High Court 2012. The court had ruled that it is illegal and unconstitutional to execute condemned inmates. Recall that the Lagos state government had announced that it would execute inmates on death row including the general overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly Chukwuemeka Ezeugo popularly known as Reverend King. But in his argument, Falana in a letter dated April 19, said executing inmates by firing squad will be a violation of their fundamental human rights to freedom of torture as guaranteed by the constitution. He further advised the Lagos state governor Akinwunmi Ambode that the only available option is to commute these ...
THIS IS WHY JEHOVAH'S WITHNESS IS BAN Russia’s Supreme Court ruled on Thursday that Jehovah’s Witnesses was an “extremist” organisation and must hand over all its property to the state, Russian news agencies reported. Interfax News Agency quoted Sergei Cherepanov, a Jehovah’s Witnesses representative, as saying that the group will appeal the decision in the European Court of Human Rights. “We will do everything possible,” he said. Russian authorities have put several of the group’s publications on a list of banned extremist literature and prosecutors have long cast it as an organisation that destroys families, fosters hatred and threatens lives. The group, a United States-based non- trinitarian Christian denomination known for its door-to-door preaching and rejection of military service and blood transfusions, says this description is false. The religious organisation has expanded around the world and has about eight million active followers. It has fac...

THE EVER EXCITING NIGERIAN DRAMA Diving away from sports, for most Nigerian, the most entertaining and intriguing or would we term it fun and suspense filled movie or Drama series in Nigeria in recent time has to be the ongoing JAMB JAMBOREE/BROUHAHA not even the English Premier league has such suspense and would I say followership. If we take our minds back to the series of drama being made available to Nigerians by the board, then. They are good reasons to ask some vital question. In the present academic session, the board could hardly device a means of admitting students into the various tertiary institutions in the country. They whole process was characterized by flaws and vision less decisions, which could lead an observer to conclude that the education sector is dead and buried. Many called for the head of the registrar and true to the government's commitment to strengthening the sector, such pleas were considered and a new professor appointed to the position. To every...
MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI THE PERFECT MATCH Since the day rumours started filtering in about the imminent departure of Mr Arsene Wenger, fans whether supporting Arsenal or not became very sensitive and concern on the names being reported in the media as potential replacement for the longest serving coach of the football club. Among such big names were Thomas Tuchel presently with Borussia Dortmund, Eddie Howe of Bournemouth, a possible return of the legends to be spearheaded by the former talismanic midfielder Patrick Vieira, Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergham and finally the name Massimiliano Allegri popped out of thin air and overshadowed every other name afore mentioned. To some, Allegri was just a fortunate coach enjoying the benefit of handling a big team with big budget and also parading the league's best players and relative lack of competition in the league while some stood by the results as their evidence to buttress the point that he has and is a good coach that can produce th...
BRING BACK OUR FIRST LOVE Our first love as a sports loving Nation has never been football, neither has it been basketball but CRICKET and I dare you never knew that. Do not judge me yet. It will interest you to know that the first international cricket match we played was on 25th may, 1904 in Lagos against Gold coast(Ghana) although we were called Lagos colony. This simply means that the game itself was being played well before that time. Well even though the team was multiracial. The matches were played annually until 1907 when it was all European. Since the nineteenth century cricket had been played and its popularity was on the rise before and immediately after the Nigerian independence although it was hampered during the world wars and the civil war of 1967.Then the ever challenging and unending problem of politics, mismanagement and internal rangling took over the administration of the sports. In 2002, the YELLOW GREEN as the Nigerian team is called participated in the Afri...
DEAR NDIDI AND LEICESTER CITY GIVE US ANOTHER DREAM In 2015/2016 season, Leicester city football club did the unthinkable, from battling to survive the drop a season before to battling and eventually winning the league in the process, surprising the Manchesters, Liverpool, Chelsea and the ever underachieving Arsenal. Notable names like Kante, Vardy, schmaichel, Mahrez and the old untiring legs of Robert Huth and Wes Morgan where instrumental to the fairytale run. Though as a club whose status quo was battling relegation, they had good enough quality scouts who had the eyes for spotting cheap but quality and talented players. One of their best players in the fairytale became the most sort after bride and was eventually snapped up by Chelsea, then the question of who to fill the shoes he had left and then the challenge of playing in the UEFA champions league and staying up in the league. Leicester did the job early making couple of signings, in came Ahmad Musa who of course became t...
