Charity a gift of Love



If there is something worth looking for yet very hidden in the most delicate of places surely, it has to be you. In my quest to find you, I had toiled and wandered in places I thought I could find you. I looked everywhere I could, just to find a clue to get to you and make you want me. I have run circles around the sun chasing after you but it's no use.
I was almost going out of my mind trying to find a way to get through to you, I know you don't know how hard I try and I try and kept trying. I have reached high up in the sky trying to steal the stars to win your heart, I have searched every book I know just to find the words to touch your world, I have already given all I can and I don't know what's left to try.
 In a sticky and cruel city we lived in, were everyone goes for self and boundaries are not respected, I was cold and lonely letting fear seize and control me, doubt closed my eyes and all I saw was a wall and it twisted my heart. Faith has lifted me and since I have enough, I'm reaching for new height and beginning. If only I was told as a kid that life wasn't as twisted as I thought neither is it straightforward maybe it wouldn't had taken me this long to get you.
As a kid, I prayed everyday that I find you among my neighborhood, the Church and my school but all I get is your sister, she fell for me and all could see. My mum never liked you, my dad admired you but my friends abuse you with ease yet I earnestly longed for you. I'm at cross road with three routes- but I can't identify what the inscription tells about their destination. I can't figure out and I don't care to ask. 
I never thought I will find it here but funny enough the most cherished treasure on earth laid in front of me, right before my eye I could only fall to fraudsters not once nor twice to finally see that you were always here.
With Love we conquered. Love gave me Charity and Charity gave me love and beauty.
